What's your Lucky Number?

Almost everyone is familiar with the superstition surrounding Friday the 13th. And, while it is not a Friday, it is the 13th! So, as is a tradition between my son-in-law and me -Happy 13th Steve Liberto!

You see Steve birthday is on May 13th and I was born on June 13th [and my "soulmate" Alayna Meinholz]. Actually, thirteen is my lucky number:

• Not only was I born on the 13th but also married my high-school sweetheart, Jeff, on the 13th.

• Our daughter Carii, was born about 13 minutes before the 13th; in '76 (which adding the digits gives you 13!)

• Our granddaughter Beka born 8/10/05 (Add 8 and 5 = 13, save the 10 for later)

• Our grandson Jason born 5/7/11 (Add 5 + 7 + 11 = 23, subtract that 10 from before = 13)

• What about Jeff ... well he's a little more complicated born 4/25/51 (51/4 = 12.75 + .25 = 13)

Perhaps you've noticed that the number four always seems to come up for you in a lucky way, {we learned in Peru that the Inca's believed in the deeper meaning of the number 4). Our neighbor, says 3 has a strong meaning for him and many who play Powerball often have their own favorite numbers.
