Brisbane, the largest city and capital of Queensland, Australia, boasts a population of around 2.6 million residents. Renowned for its cultural diversity, with over 36% of its inhabitants being foreign-born, Brisbane consistently earns accolades for its high livability standards. The city's central business district is located on a peninsula along the Brisbane River. Arriving via shuttle, we were struck by the diverse architectural styles present in the city, yet the raised homes with lattice-work outside the urban area reminded me of quintessential Australian outback charm.

The visitor's information center, once a theater, showcased an interior that was simply stunning.

Queen Street Mall, situated in the heart of Brisbane City, is one of Australia's most successful pedestrian malls with over 500 stores. Significant heritage-listed building facades have been preserved within the mall, giving it a blend of modernity and yesteryear charm.

We made the most of our time in Brisbane central city district with a purchase for an accesory for our camera, boot polish for Jeff's boots and, of course, more minature bottles!
