100 Day Countdown Begins

Yes time is flying by .. today as we are headed to Luanda, Angola we have only 100 days remaining on this amazing journey around the world.

We're enjoying every moment. Last evening we savored some scrumptous sushi at Izumi specialty restaurant.

As we relax on the ship today, we're blessed with perfect weather. Having passed the Tropic of Capricorn, we're enjoying temperatures in the 70s accompanied by a gentle breeze. It's an ideal time for a leisurely stroll on Deck 12, where I took the opportunity to walk a mile (or more) while immersed in my audiobook. During my walk, I made an intriguing discovery near the library on Deck 12 - a wall adorned with a collection of unique plaques, each gifted to the ship from the various ports we've visited throughout our Ultimate World Cruise. These plaques showcase a diverse array of craftsmanship, ranging from intricate beadwork to striking metalwork, serving as a beautiful tribute to the places we've explored. As we embark on the final 100 days of our journey, we eagerly anticipate the extraordinary adventures that await us. While we've previously explored many European cities, this thirdsegment of our voyage will introduce us to several captivating destinations for the first time. Among these new experiences are the remaining African countries on our itinerary, including Angola, Ghana, and Senegal, each promising a unique cultural immersion. Additionally, we'll have the opportunity to discover the enchanting beauty of the Canary Islands, the stunning landscapes of Slovenia, the rugged charm of Montenegro, and the historical richness of Malta. These unexplored territories are sure to leave an indelible mark on our memories as we continue our remarkable odyssey. See you there!
