Circumnavigating the Globe

39.06572 N / 17.79746 E en route to Valletta, Malta

Today marks a historic milestone on our Ultimate World Cruise. As we celebrate our 200th day at sea, we've officially circumnavigated the globe 2.6 times! What does this mean? Circumnavigating the globe involves traveling all the way around the Earth, crossing all meridians of longitude. Our journey of 2.6 circumnavigations is equivalent to two complete trips around the world at the equator, plus an additional 60% of a third trip. To put this into perspective, one circumnavigation of Earth at the equator is about 24,901 miles. Our total journey so far spans approximately 64,742 miles – a truly remarkable distance!

This extraordinary voyage has taken us to all seven continents, highlighting the world's most awe-inspiring sights. We've marveled at the thundering Iguazu Falls in South America, witnessed the majestic icebergs of Antarctica, walked along the Great Wall of China in Asia, encountered the "Big Five" in Africa, and admired the stunning Adriatic coastline of Europe.

Now, as we set course for Malta, we're adding yet another country to our ever-growing list of destinations. We're grateful to have you following along as we complete the remainder of our journey through portions of the Mediterranean, Northern Africa, mainland Europe, Iceland, Greenland, Canada, and Bermuda, before concluding our adventure in the USA.

Stay tuned for more unforgettable experiences as we continue to explore our magnificent world!
