We discovered the origins of the Sarsen Stones and Bluestones, learning how the prehistoric people transported them from locations as far as 19 miles away from the current site. The builders had to rely on Neolithic technology and methods to move these enormous stones. This likely involved the use of wooden rollers, sleds, ropes, and possibly floating the stones on rafts where waterways were available.

The monument's alignment with the summer and winter solstices suggests it may have been used to mark important seasonal changes. Evidence suggests Stonehenge was used as a Late Neolithic burial site and a monument to the dead for at least 500 years during its early phases.

For years, we've heard about this iconic site renowned across the globe. Experiencing firsthand one of Europe's most significant prehistoric landscapes was truly captivating.
