Celebrating 50 years (plus)

So, as many of you know, we are on another great adventure. This one started quite a few years ago !!!
Now it's time to celebrate 50 years (plus) ...
We actually met in 1967 in our Jr. year in high school. Here we are Prom at Greenfield High School.

Here we are a few years later ... probably 1970 or so ...

Jeff still says ... where are my nice pants that I had back then (Goodwill, I imagine!)

After graduation from GHS we separated briefly - Barb to Univ. of Wi Madison, Jeff to Michigan State ...
although we traveled back and forth to see one another (can you believe we sold our blood to afford the cost of travel? Yes, it's true.
but don't let Jeff know .. Barb's blood was slightly worth more

But we didn't marry until 1973 (so do we count the extra years... Jeff says "YES" !
Anyway, next Friday is the "BIG DAY" January 13th 1973 ... Here's the Happy Couple in Jeff's 68 Cutlass (wish we'd kept it) at least we're still going strong, not sure where the car is....

Right now we're in LA waiting for our flight Sydney, Australia ... what's a few hours ...
