Home Sweet Home

AKA Our Jumping off Point

Before Covid we never spent more than 3 weeks at a time at our Wyoming Home. I liked to call it our "Jumping Off Point".
We'd come home, unpack, sort the wash according to climate, repack ... and then be on the move again. After all, there's so much to see and so little time. Don't get me wrong ... We truly live in God's country - as you'll see.

You'll see this sculpture upon entering our home town - which proclaims "all the civilization you need". It's true! We live 100 miles from the nearest stoplight! (Thank heavens for Amazon :)

But we also experience some of the best of times when it comes to fabulous hikes, unbelievable sites of mother nature, the midnight sky constellations and all the best that Wyoming has to offer. Like this shot of "neighborhood friends?!?"

But, don't get me wrong, I've got travel fever in my blood. And the COVID "thing" has really messed with my ability to travel, to see, to be enlightened, etc. Can't wait!!! Only 55 days until THE FOODIE FEST!

My only hope is that by the time I finish that fabulous trip that I have planned in Apr. '22, I will be able to travel back to MY OWN COUNTRY,
and not have to be tested to return to MY OWN COUNTRY ... when many who were not born, raised or contributed to society here, are freely walking across our border. REALLY?! ... OK enough said, let's hope I can come home without further ado so we can get on with plans for the next adventure!
